just did the math and if I do the after-school tutoring three days a week, each week as planned then i’m gonna be cruising through with a cool 105 hours of community service at the end of this semester (my scholarship requires 100 by July)

and of course I’m not gonna be able to make every single day most likely but that doesn’t matter because I’ll be doing one-time events and every extra community service opportunity I can get my hands on

this is really awesome since I basically shit the bed, freaked out, and didn’t get any volunteering hours whatsoever last semester

I’m glad that I’m successfully salvaging myself from a problematic situation of my own doing.
